Bradford is situated in the centre of the UK, 200 miles from London, and is easily reached by road, rail or air. An extensive rail service connects most parts of the Country to Bradford’s Travel Interchange or Forster Square Station. Taxis are available outside the Interchange and Forster Square Railway Stations and the journey to Agenda1 takes about 5 minutes.
Leeds/Bradford International Airport is situated around 8 miles from Agenda1 and taxis are readily available outside the airport. By car from Leeds Airport you need to take the A658 West towards Bradford. Travel for around 5 miles then take A647, following signs for Bradford University/Queensbury. Pass Bradford College and the Bradford University on your right and at the next mini-roundabout take second exit on to Shearbridge Road. The Listerhills Science Park is the second turning on the right and is well signposted.
Manchester Airport is approximately 40 miles from Bradford and trains operate every hour from the Airport directly to Bradford – the journey takes around an hour. Travelling by car, leave the Airport heading for the M56 motorway east, and then the M60 and M62 heading towards Leeds. Leave the M62 at Junction 26 and join the M606. Take second exit off the M606 signposted Ring Road West (A6177), go up the slip road and take the third exit off the roundabout onto A6177 Ring Road. Travel along the A6177 towards Bradford (Mayo Avenue) until you come to a large set of traffic lights. Here, turn right onto A641 (Manchester Road). Travel along this dual carriageway for approximately 1 mile to the centre of Bradford. Follow the signs for Bradford University (which is very close of Agenda1) which take you onto A647 (Great Horton Road). You will pass Bradford College on your right and then Bradford University. Proceed along A647 until you come to a mini-roundabout, take the second exit onto Shearbridge Road Take the second turning on the right which is the Listerhills Science Park and is well signposted.
Bradford is connected to the national motorway network via the M62 and M606. The M62 is the trans-Pennine link between the M1 and the M6. The M606 forms a spur off the M62 (Junction 26) and leads directly to Bradford’s outer ring road. Take second exit off the M606 signposted Ring Road West (A6177), go up the slip road and take the third exit off the roundabout onto A6177 Ring Road. Travel along the A6177 towards Bradford (Mayo Avenue) until you come to a large set of traffic lights. Here, turn right onto A641 (Manchester Road). If you are travelling from the North East it may be more convenient to use the A1 or the A19 and reach Bradford via the A658 south of Harrogate. When you arrive at Bradford you need to follow the signs for the A647 (Great Horton Road) which is the Queensbury/Halifax Road and will lead you past the Bradford University and onto Agenda1.
If you are travelling from the North West you may wish to use the A629/A650 via Skipton and Keighley. This takes you through Bingley and then onto Manningham Lane to Bradford City Centre. Follow the signs for the A647 (Great Horton Road) which is the Queensbury/Halifax Road or the signs for the Bradford University and then on to Agenda1.
