Concept Life Sciences unveils new Analytical Science Hub in Bradford to cope with growing demand

Concept Life Sciences has acquired a new building on the Listerhills Science Park in Bradford to accommodate its growing workforce. The current facility which is home to Agenda1 (part of the Concept Life Sciences group), comprises both laboratories and offices, and due to increasing client demand has reached full capacity. In order to meet the increasing demand for the group’s analytical and development services, the company has invested in a new 4100 sq ft building. The existing facility will now be dedicated laboratory space, increasing its laboratory capacity by 2500 sq ft, and this will become the main head office and the base for the commercial and science teams.

Agenda1 is a specialist contract analytical company delivering high quality analytical support to pharmaceutical, healthcare and medical device companies. Agenda1 was established in 2006 by Dr Simon Bristow and Ian Siragher and quickly became a well-recognised laboratory working with a wide range of companies. Their focus on pharmaceutical and healthcare Industries led to them gaining MHRA accreditation in 2012 and their access to a wide range of GMP qualified equipment sets them apart in the industry.

Acquired by the Concept Life Sciences Group in 2015 Agenda1 has, with the support and investment of the Group, been able to achieve expedited growth. This looks set to continue with the company predicting a 50% increase in staff over the next 12 months.
