The A1STaR Process
Recruiters benefit from our standard process designed to ensure that only the right candidates are presented for each position. Candidates are formally assessed in respect of their lab knowledge. Assessment tests include Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Health and Safety Waste Disposal and General HPLC Knowledge. Candidates also undertake a personality test to identify how well they will fit into the existing team. Candidates are well briefed prior to interview and recruiters receive the results of both assessments, and a CV.
- Our consultants analyse the job role and find out about the ideal candidate requirements in terms of fit within the existing team.
- For positions requiring practical lab skills candidates are invited to take a range of online assessment tests, designed to make sure that candidates have a reasonable level of understanding of working within a lab. The test includes assessment on health and safety and good manufacturing practice.
- Candidates are then invited to undertake a personality assessment, to help identify how well they will fit into the work environment.
- Once assessed, candidates are presented on paper to clients, complete with assessment tests results and CV
- Prior to interview all candidates are briefed about the company and the position, and their motivation and commitment to the opportunity confirmed
- Following interview, candidates and clients are debriefed prior to offers being made and accepted.
